Ainsi est né le Certificat Européen d'Hypnose, dont la Confédération Francophone d'Hypnose et Thérapies Brèves en a été l'une des instigatrices.
Ce label de Certification a pour objectif de protéger les patients, de les adresser vers de véritables professionnels de santé, reconnus par leurs pairs et non pas vers des praticiens venant de formations auto-proclamées.
Malgré les plagiats multiples, les seuls organismes officiels, émanant de la CFHTB entre autres, et de l'Institut Milton Erickson de Phoenix Arizona, dirigés par des professionnels de santé, et pour les professionnels de santé sont cités ci-dessous.
